We aim to provide deep experiences of connection and empowerment through learning new skills in a beautiful natural setting on the farm.
The farm is nestled in the folds of the Sierra Nevada foothills just outside of Nevada City and only minutes from the Yuba River. Angie Tomey is the lead farmer and teacher and has over 20 years of experience growing vegetables, flowers and fruit trees.

We are excited to be offering its first round of classes this year. All classes will take place on the farm and will include a combination of lecture and hands-on learning. Classes are open to people of all ages, though unless noted, the content will be geared towards adults.

We are excited to start our class offerings in 2026. All classes will take place on the farm and will include a combination of lecture and hands-on learning. Classes are open to people of all ages, though unless noted, the content will be geared towards adults.

Little Boy Flowers is a flower farm and design studio that coexists with our community project. Though we are diversifying our farm to grow a wider range of crops for educational purposes, we are passionate about growing unique and hard to find flowers for the Nevada City and Tahoe areas. We love doing weddings large and small.

Working alongside people on the farm can create long lasting connections. We are excited to be hosting weekly volunteer days each Thursday. Volunteers can come and go as they wish. However we do ask that you sign up for your first day so we can send you our little beginners guide to volunteering on the farm. See you soon!
